Founded in 1988, the Delia Morán Vidanta Foundation is a non-profit that pays homage to Daniel Chávez Morán’s mother, Professor Delia Morán, a lifelong teacher in Mexico. The foundation was founded in 2013 and serves children from low-income areas in Riviera Nayarit. It offers extracurricular educational programs as well as medical services and daily access to nutritional meals. To date it has provided services to more than 500 children and 1,000 families.

Since its inception in 2005, the foundation has used grants and awards to help further the cause of many individuals and organizations.
